The weekly check-in.
Remember the days where I'd post regularly, once or twice per day? Now it's at least 3-4 days between posts. Maybe that's just me realizing that the rest of the world doesn't always care about the inner workings of this strange little girl. But, for those who do, here's what's up:
The employment adventure isn't as adventuresome as it was last time. Yet, anyway. EBay is so damned frustrating though even though I love working there. I just wish I knew what my boss' deal was and why I'm getting shafted so much more. Oh well. The girls who work there are so awesome, and it's still fun. As for the other part... I don't really know what to think just yet. It's not as friendly as I'd hoped, and something about being in there makes me a little sick to my stomach. Who knows... it's only my 3rd day tomorrow, so we'll see what happens from here. Festivals are going to be interesting, that's all I have to say about that. But if all goes well I might pull in almost $1000 in a week, and you cant go wrong with that!! :)
There are gnats attracted to my computer screen, and it's REALLY starting to get to me. Ugh. Friggin gross little bugs.
Mark will be here Friday!! :) It's gonna be kind of a short visit, but oh well! I'm so excited to see him. I'm a little worried about the rest of the summer, though. I don't want to go through what we went through last summer (not seeing eachother for 2 months, rough as hell for a couple who spends as much time together as we do.) Depending on what happens in the next month or so, maybe I can negotiate a visit out there either right before or right after Cherry Fest. We shall see. For now, I'm looking forward to this weekend and spending it all with him! :):)
The running thing is going somewhat well. I got sick last week, so between that and working quite a bit this weekend I didn't get to run all that much last week. I have the morning of June 2nd off (at least, as far as I know), so I'm hoping to run in a 5K out at Westwoods Elementary just to see where I'm at. Plus, I haven't done one in 2 years and I've been dying to, and since who knows what's up with Cherry Festival I need to maybe look in to other races.
