We lay on the ground, our clothes laid out under us, Megan curled up besides me. "That was rather exciting," she tells me.
"It was brilliant." I kiss her again. "Does it sound like the rain is growing softer?"
She pauses, listening. "I think so."
We listen to the rain for several minutes, and it does seem to be lessening. "I think I'll go ahead and try it. I haven't heard any thunder for fifteen minutes. Accio Megan's wand." I point my own wand and wait. "It may take a few minutes depending on where it is."
"As long as we find it. I know I could potentially buy another, but I don't really want to do that."
I slip into my jeans while we wait for her wand to come. She dresses as well, then kisses me again. "Maybe we can have a second round when we get home."
"I think that can be arranged,'" I tell her, kissing her again.
At that moment there was a clattering sound as Megan's wand falls to the floor as if thrown, rolling to her feet. She picks it up and smiles. "Not broken."
"Good. Let's apparate to our picnic things and then get out of here."
"Alright. Side apparating?" she asks.
"If we get lost at least it will be together," I tease, putting my arm around her waist.
She laughs at this. "Well, I will let you lead."
She squeezes me back and I apparate us to where we left our picnic things. It doesn't take us long to collect everything and pack it, though we do have to dry off some things. Minutes later we apparate home. "Ready for round two?" I ask, pulling her close to me.
She smiles. "Yes," she answers before kissing me again.
