How about a Christmas meme?
1. Hot chocolate or apple cider? Hot chocolate.
2. Turkey or Ham? Turkey. Ham is great, but there's something special about a big turkey dinner.
3. Do you get a Fake or Real Christmas tree? We've always had a real tree. I love the smell.
4. Decorations on the outside of your house? Yup. Lights, and wooden reindeer on the lawn.
5. Snowball fights or sledding? I love snowball fights, but sledding inches ahead in my books.
6. Do you enjoy going down town shopping? Yes. I like going on day trips to the city to do Christmas shopping.
7. Favourite Christmas song? I've always been fond of "The Little Drummer Boy", although I also love "Good King Wenceslas"
8. How do you feel about Christmas movies? Often very good. Especially when Muppets are involved.
9. When is it too early to start listening to Christmas music? It can be too early?
10. Stockings before or after presents? Before! My favourite part!
11. Are you good or bad at gift-wrapping? Decent
12. Do you prefer an angel or star at the top of the tree? We have a Santa. I guess you could call him a star.
13. Carollers, do you or do you not watch and listen to them? I've never had any at the door, and I don't think I'd have any figgy pudding to give them, but I'd like to hear them.
14. Go to someone else's house or they come to you? We've always done a bit of both. I'll go to my parents' house for Christmas morning, then spend the evening at my grandparents' house. Then we usually have several subsequent Christmases at other houses over the next week.
15. Do you read the Christmas Story? I assume this is "Twas The Night Before Christmas", so yes.
16. Are you hard to shop for? Often, yes.
17. What do you do after presents and dinner? Dinner, dessert, and tea usually lasts until 9:00PM, so we usually just find somewhere comfy to curl up and nap.
18. What is your favourite holiday smell? Woodsmoke from the fireplace at my grandparents' house.
19. Ice skating or walking around the mall? I can't skate, but I've had great times walking around the mall with my friends.
20. Do you open a present or presents on Christmas Eve, or wait until Christmas day? Christmas day. And it had better be bright and early, too, because my parents come to wake me up if I'm not ready for presents by 6:30.
21. What do you want for Christmas this year? A Peta Cat, Earthdawn books, a double bed, and a Wii.
22. Favourite Christmas memory? Most of them.
23. Favourite Part about winter? Snow, when it doesn't knock my power out.
24. Ever been kissed under mistletoe? Yes. And I hope for more in the future.
