heya everyone,
i haven't updated in a long time because ive had nothing in particular to share, or tell.
but just so you know, i check lj almost every day to keep up w/ everyone.
anyway - in case you were wondering - im still alive and well.
I had been planning on going home this summer to study at GMU for a couple months. Fortunately or unfortunately, I didnt get accepted. (and for the record, im not upset about it)
Therefore, I think that I will be staying in montreal through june and july to take some courses here.
My term here ends in about 2 weeks. (my last final is april 21st). i intend to stay in montreal until May and then might go on a short trip with my parents for a week.
I may take another short trip, but for the rest of May I think I will be home.
after my second course in July (ending july 30th) i think i will come home again for a few weeks in august, and then return to montreal the last week in august to help w/ freshman orientation.
I would like you to know that anybody interested in visiting montreal is absolutely more than welcome to visit me while i am here in june/july - so long as you realize that i will be taking courses and therefore need to be doing a minimum amount of studying every day. (after which i will be out frolicking in the summer fun) that having been said, montreal is said to be AMAZING during the summer: festivals, concerts, exhibits, etc... and the weather brilliant (to anyone who bitches at me for being up here in the winter, summer can get nearly as hot/humid as DC). I have a futton (which is moderatly comfortable) an extra mattress, and enough floor space to sleep as many feel like squishing in.
Thus far, my plans are still tentative - but if you care, bother to ask and I will update you.
If interested, please dont hesitate to take me up on my offer, the more the marrier, and summer is a good time for you to come up - with the stressless ness that summer is (for you guys... ;)) (or so i hope)
hope that everyone else is doing well.
good luck to those receiving college responses.
congratulations to those accepted.
and sorry for the impersonality of this message, i didnt know how else to braodcast it to those i wanted to inform.
