The exciting conclusion to the EC Collins Division.  Format is a matchplay best-of-3 format for the semifinals and finals.  Losers in the semifinals are returned to the pool, so they're not guaranteed third/fourth.  Let's see how things turned out on President's Day.

Lady Luck is golden, and she favors the bold.  I had some ridiculously good luck this past weekend at the EC, but I think playing aggressively helped play into that.  See how day 1 went after the cut.

I freakin' won the Collins Division at the EC.  As the bottom seed.  15.5-6.5, +1085 (I think?), new NASPA Collins rating of 1861, $265.  Quite possibly the greatest run of tiles I'll ever see in my life.  I am so overrated right now.  That doesn't mean I'm not enjoying the win.  I had so much fun this weekend, and I am hooked (pun intentional) on ( Read more... )
