My sister (B) was informed today that she is in kidney failure and that she needs to get an urgent referral to a kidney specialist from her family doctor. She also has to go off some of her trigeminal neuralgia meds. She will be only 59 next Monday and this is not good news for her.

Well, Mom has declined the temporary solution and B-girl is going home tomorrow. Mom will have to cope mostly alone and that may encourage her to rethink her position.

The one thing that has come out of this is a definitely rift in the family. The seeds were sown years ago, but it is coming to the fore now.
