I'm trying to wrap my brain around it -- I mean, they DO have the right to free speech ---- BUT, isn't this close to threatening a Hate Crime??
i.e., threatening to lynch Obama???? Or saying he SHOULD be lynched???

Yea - I don't really get that connection they're trying to make. It's far-fetched, if that. Equating slavery and abortion as the same kind of injustice is just... well, wrong, imo.

I think the imagery is in VERY poor taste. And it's obviously meant to be a dig at the President. Maybe the FBI should be called in. It might be some conspiracy to kill him.

Now hey, in this day and age, all it takes is one poor mentally unstable fool to 'read' that truck as a message that he is being called for the holy duty to go and assasinate Obama!! And you know that, AND the Terry Randall people know that.
They're no better than the radical islamic suicide bombers.

I agree. We already know there's people willing to commit murder and acts of terrorism to enforce their twisted "morality". And I'm not talking about the Middle East.

According to my flist, they've been doing the same thing with the Holocaust.

Which is not to say it's not a hate crime, and yes, I think you should call and complain to the local PD. They won't be able to do anything, but if they get enough complaints, they may complain uphill.
