oh yeah, today's BPAL is Imp (peach, amber, musk, patchouli). i wasn't sure about it when it went on; peach/apricot is always a little iffy for me. the amber/patchouli/musk combo usually works just dandy for me, though, so we'll see how it wears. smells okay now, but i'm not loving it w/ the peach -- it's just a tiny bit cloying.

I think I've finally sufficiently cleared up my jury duty mix-up, or will have as soon as I dig up a pay stub from May and fax it in as proof of my address change. The whole time I was living in Baltimore, I got called for jury duty once (right after I moved there), and of course 2 months AFTER I moved to Bethesda I got a notice to serve. And ( Read more... )

Velvet: verra nice. A smidge powdery for my taste, but not too sweet, and deep enough to balance it out. Probably won't wear this one too often, but it's a keeper.

Hermia: A few hours in, it was a nice, soft amber-and-floral scent, but I'm not sure about the early stages. Gonna try it again at some point.
