I know there's a bunch of different kinds depending on who's telling the story ;) Also, the girl from the movie that came out in the 80's was both adorable and really creepy.

I seem to have been inspired by this post on fanficrants, and am attempting to write Jim Kirk as a poltergeist. I'm just trying to decide how he should first bring himself to the attention of one Doctor Leonard McCoy, and then how he should begin his little poltergeisty flirtation campaign. And whether he should become human at the end for sex purposes, or whether poltergeists do it better. I need to know this stuff. You know. For science. :-D

In my SCIENTIFIC OPINION this sounds fucking awesome :D

Think how much fun you can have with the fact that poltergeist means noisy ghost!! AWWWWWW YEAH!

Do you think a poltergeist can use its basic powers for good? Like destroying things you were going to burn anyway, or moving your coffee mug to safety instead of dashing it to the floor? Or are the powers so inherently destructive that all a well-meaning poltergeist could do is turn its attentions to your enemies?
