Dear Journal of the Great and Powerful Fram of the Exalted Order the Great and Powerful Galzar Wolfhead
Day 14
I availed myself of the bathing facilities that the dwarf, a being known as Falgrave, offered with his room and board. It was very much needed after days on the road, rinsing off in a stream just isn't enough sometimes. The food is good, the mead is good, the ale is good, the stout is good, the lager is good, the cider is good, and.. umm.. I don't remember very much after that..
anyway..
The party of stalwart adventurers staggered back into town. They were beaten, pulverized, torn and bloody, yet their spirit was unbroken! What true heroes these men are! I was slightly surprised that the townspeople did not gather together to welcome them. I watched as they sort of stumbled in and noticed a lacking in their numbers.. they have no cleric!
What a travesty.. what a blessing.. obviously.. the Great and all Powerfuly and Super Awesome Galzar Wolfhead guided me here to these men in their hour of need!
And.. if I was guided here, as I clearly was, then these men, and me of course, are headed for grand deeds indeed..
yes, journal.. it will be great..
I met with the party and seems a pleasant and motley group..
There is Reacher.. a human locksmith
Garrick.. a human mage
Kyle.. a half-ling
Eric.. Garricks brother
Grolan.. a dwarf
They all seem genuine in their desire to rid the world of evil and evil creatures, and we agree to set out in the morning.. or whenever their bleeding stops.
Day 15
my first adventure!!
I took my very first steps to being the all-powerful-evil-smooshing-machine-extraordinaire that I was destined to be..
We headed out to an old wizards tower that had once stood just a few hours away from the town and has since become a den of vice and villainy and icky evil things that need to be bashed
Due to their previous adventures they had already mapped out a great deal of the first level, but that didn't keep the foul beasts that inhabit the dungeons from creeping up from the deeper depths..
Day 26 or something..
We have been back and forth to the wizards keep several times now..
we have faced giant spiders, orcs, giant rats, giant centipedes, hobgoblins (more on them later), giant frogs, giant bats, ghouls, neanderthals, fire beetles, gnolls, giant toads, and some sort of weird psuedo-beholder..
There is even a small group of hobgoblins that have fortified a small area of the dungeon and exact tolls on all that wish to move past. Imagine the audacity of these scum! Attempting to extort from the good and pious, such as we. Naturally, we refused, as the others refused in the past, and the beasts attacked!
We easily defeated them and forced them back behind their fortifications where we could not follow..
The ego that these monsters flaunt is astounding..
I mean.. to even attempt to bring such supreme beings, such as our selves, down to their filthy level.. we need to teach these disgusting beasts a lesson.
