Twenty First Century Music Festival: Angele Dubeau & La Pieta
Headed over to The Royal Conservatory for their 21C Festival 2017 to see Angele Dubeau & La Pieta at Koerner Hall, 8pm. The classical ensemble consisted of violin, viola, cello, base, and piano. The music was beautiful. This was the first time I've seen pictures and colours with the music. I don't mean they put stuff up on a screen but within my mind. Amazing experience. They played 14 pieces by various artists that include Philip Glass, Ludovico Einaudi, Mike Oldfield, Johnny Greenwood (Radiohead band), Max Richter, Arvo Part, Michael Nyman, and Marjan Mozetich.
