Rogue One
Headed over to Imagine cinemas to see Rogue One today. The theatre was packed as it's discount Tuesday where movies are $5 each.
Good movie, predictable naturally (if you've seen Star Wars Ep IV A New Hope lol) but fun. The actors were great as was the action. I expected there to be more of Forest Whitaker's characters Saw Gerrera in it from the advertisements but he has only a small role. There was a couple of things that didn't quite make sense and I remember at the time thinking if this is true then the plot falls apart and there's no point to this story or for them to go after the plans but can't remember what it is now but something to do with Mads Mikkelsen's character Galen Erso and his design of the Death Star. My fav character in was Chirrut Îmwe - the blind Jedi in training - played by Donnie Yen. Total surprise was seeing Grand Moff Tarkin in CG since Peter Cushing died in 1994. A good likeness despite the CG.
If you like Star Wars you'll like this one. Ya go see it and spend an afternoon aboard the Death Star!
