Oh no, I'm listening to Amon Tobin (Chaos Theory) before 10am... Somebody's got static on the brain.
I need to find those delectable references to Kierkegaard, Mallarmé, and Beckett in Zizek. The first two are easy, but the last one might take a bit of searching. I don't readily recall which book to look in. Which is okay, given that Zizek would probably only mention Beckett if he's got Badiou somewhere else in that book; which means I can skip The Sublime Object of Ideology and focus more on For They Know Not What They Do, The Ticklish Subject, The Puppet And The Dwarf, and The Parallax View. Lists are such arbitrary things.
G's isn't open until this coming Monday so I'm making do with the coffee machine upstairs. It's not that bad, but damned if I'm going to be frothing milk for my double shot mezzo first thing in the morning. That kind of dexterious activity is an afternoon thing.
