I don't have time to be sick today
But it looks like I'm going to be anyway.
I've been having problems with photophobia and blurred vision in my right eye for a couple of days now. This morning when I woke up, my eye was most definitely inflamed and discharging tears and pus from the tear duct at the inside corner. The eye feels painful, irritated, and has a burning, sometimes throbbing pain. These are most of the classic symptoms of Conjunctivitis, an infection of the Conjunctiva lining over the inside of the eyelids and the white part of the eye. Yes, it's also commonly called Pink Eye, but Red Eye would be much more appropriate.
Considering the fact that I have a potentially highly communicable disease, I'm probably not headed to the 2600 meeting, or much of anywhere else today. I was looking forward to braving the elements and hanging out in Ann Arbor too. Oh well.
In other news, it's time for me to get some new contact lenses now.
