Matt and I wanted to get a New Zealand toilet, and I asked in the askmeanything community if they had any reasons why this wouldn't work. Someone suggested there could be problems due to the Coriolis Effect, but then someone replied with this link:

Apparently, it's not true that toilets drain one way or the other due to the CE! I wanted to copy and paste a couple of highlights from the article, but the website won't let me...
