And the OTHER Bach Festival experience:
On the way home, I was driving fairly slow and cautiously, because ALT-97 is slightly scary, especially in the dark. Someone passed me, then I heard a screeching of tires, and the person who passed me was off into the ditch, with a dead deer lying in front of them on the road. I would've pulled over and helped, but I was dressed in all black, and I didn't want to join the deer on the casualty list.
Seriously, though, folks, don't tailgate, and don't speed. The deer would thank you if they knew how.
