First of all... Happy X'mas and happy holidays ^________^

Now, that I've done with it, let's move to another issue. This is a snippet from Seiran ni Yureru Tsukigusa that has been animated in the end of episode 30, focusing on Shuurei and Juusan-hime's conversation.. with an amusing detail (IMO) that makes me wonder about.. things..

Beware of bad english, a rough-hasn't-been-proofreaded translation.. I'm confident I can do better if it was in my native language.. how I miss my old job...*shikushikushikushiku*

When Shuurei returned safe and sound, Juusan-hime sighed in relieved. At the same time, she is also surprised to see her in low spirit.

“Ah, what had happened? Why is your hair dishevelled like that?”

“…I’m sorry.. you’ve helped me made my hair, and yet..”

“It’s alright. You seem like wanting to scream out loud.”

“How did you know that? But, before I do, I want to give lots of carrot to the horse.”

Juusan-hime’s expression shines. She seems to be very happy.

“That’s great! After this and that, let’s go together, before they go to sleep. At this time, I think they have eaten enough, but if we give one carrot, they should be able to take it easily.”

“..Juusan-hime, you do like horses a lot, don’t you..”

“Weeell… I suppose, just as much as you like being an officer?”

Shuurei is a bit puzzled. …a comparison that is difficult to comprehend. From the beginning, she has been wondered, she felt like she knew this little bit out of the way sort of manner…

“Ah, I see. You look a bit like Ryuuren-oniichan..”

“Whaaat!? Noo!! What an insult!! My whole life has been done with!! It would have been hundredth times better if you say I look like a horse!”

“Eeh? What do you mean? Are you saying that Ryuuren is lower than a horse?”

“Wrong! Obviously, he is lower than a horse.. umm.. lower than a horse’ dung… Leave out the horse.. he is lower than a dung!”

Looking at Juusan-hime who is muttering with her serious expression, Shuurei can no longer able to put up, and explode into laughter. She laughs so hard that her eyes in tears.

“You don’t necessarily have to respect horse up to that extent..!”

“.. wait a moment. I didn’t say anything that deserves to be laughed at. I said that seriously. Hey!”

Shuurei’s eye catches a strange movement from something that emitted light that flew in through the opened window. The peculiar movement of the shining object surprised her. That’s right. This pavilion is also located near water..

“Ah.. a firefly.. It seems that today I have a peculiar connection with them.. Juusan-hime?”

Juusan-hime stares at the shining firefly, with an expression of someone that has lost their soul. Her expression is almost like someone who is in verge of tears.

Somehow, Shuurei is being reminded of Shun. A man who talked as if he knows Juusan-hime.

“Juusan-hime… do you know a man who has darkish skin and wear an eyepatch?”

Juusan-hime gasped. She set her eyes on Shuurei, her lips are trembling.

“…you met him…!?”

Shuurei told her about the event that has just happened.

Juusan-hime’s expression changes. With an intense expression, she seems to be deep in thought.

“Juusan-hime..”

“Wait.”

Juusan-hime whispered, with a pleading tone, in a soft voice as if would disappear anytime.

“Please.. please wait for a little bit longer. I’m sorry. I can’t go with you to feed carrots to the horse.”

Now we know what two of the Ran think about Ryuuren ^^;; Their opinion is an exact opposite to Reishin's worshiping Shouka, Kurou's opinion on Shouka and Reishin (okay.. the three Kou brothers ^^;; ) Rather than focusing on pairing (romance or not), I think it will be interesting to sort-of dig deeper into who thinks what about who in the family...
