..It's rather my childhood (lol).
I was a strange little girl that loved bugs.
In Japan, horned beetles are really treasured among children.
Unless they live in really urban areas, kids would go into the woods or mountains to catch these things in the Summer.
They climb up the trees, running all over the places, trip over tree roots.... that's the shortest and quickest way to get to know the nature.
Sometimes they can buy it in pet stores too, but that's not as thrilling as catching one yourself.
I wonder if kids these days still get into this sort of things...
