Tonight is our annual birthday dinner. We are all dressed up, look gorgeous, and are ready for a night of fine food, fine wine, and excellent conversation at the Boulcott Street Bistro.

I love this tradition of ours.

Yesterday was fun: bookfair in the morning with clockworkflight and darthsappho as well as us three, and then they came up for lunch/afternoon tea/dinner to celebrate tamarillow's birthday. Not being a huge fan of brownie edges, I manage to completely miss the point of this brownie pan and are disturbed by it instead. I was under the impression that one of the good things about having a square pan was the balance between edge and center.
