Now I'm all caught up on the PoT OVA. I completely forgot how much I love this series. Let me count the ways

The prettiest girl I ever saw, Fuji

The epic tennis action (only Shounen Jump, ppl)

People who don't understand the dinosaurs, galaxies, tidal waves, hurricanes etc in Prince of Tennis don't appreciate epic symbolism

Whoever says they can't understand Fuji/Ryoma is a load of shit, in my opinion. When the hell do you EVER see Fuji this excited about anything? The kid is detached from the world, and only Ryoma's tennis skill gets his attention consistently throughout the series, both in the manga and the anime. He admires Tezuka, but is never that shocked/amazed by him. I also pair Fuji with Saeki and Yuuta
I like Marui a lot too. I don't pair him with Jackal though. It's a total cop-out to pair all the doubles pairings just because they're doubles pairings. For some there's really no alternative though, I do understand that. (for example the gay doubles pairing in Shitenhouji.. but damn, those two scare the crap out of me)
Life lesson of the day
Episode 6 of the Semifinals OVA was really amusing to watch. It was like "LET'S SEE IF WE CAN FIT EVERYTHING IN THE LAST EPISODE"
Also I prefer the art style used in the first OVA with the crisper lines. Why did they have to switch styles? I hope they return to it for the Finals OVA.
[edit] Right now I've decided to try and finish off Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho: Tou Dai Ni Maku. I thought I completed it but I was lying to myself lol.
