Quick Luis update
Luis was transported to Tegucigalpa yesterday. He's currently in Tegucigalpa's public hospital, Hospital Escuela, because it turns out the doctors in Juticalpa missed the fact that his intestine was perforated. So once that is fixed his brother will take the money we've sent and basically use it as a down payment on a private surgical clinic. We've wired 600$ and today Tulio is in Clinton NC passing his hat around the Honduran community there. According to his brother Francisco, the surgery will cost around 150,000 Lempiras, about 8,000$. I'm not sure if this is for American quality surgery to restore his face as much as possible or just kinda bare minimum patching him together type surgery. So that's where things are at right now.
In other news, I'm much more motivated to blog now that I have something more interesting to talk about than my dog. Although he was playing in the leaves this morning and it was cute.
