I had a conversation at work during a drug lunch recently (one of the psychiatrists is Cajun and eats lots of strange things so it came up)
Me: I’ve eaten iguana
Doc: What does it taste like? chicken?
Me: I don’t know, I haven’t eaten chicken for about 20 years.
pause to think
Me: It kind of tastes like alligator
Doc: Oh, ok.
Later the office manager, who was at the lunch too, cornered me and said “So you won’t eat chicken but you’ll eat alligator and iguana?”
Me: I’ve eaten iguana
Doc: What does it taste like? chicken?
Me: I don’t know, I haven’t eaten chicken for about 20 years.
