This affair is something beautiful,
I just wish I had a way to make is last.
It seems whatever’s so easy and so fun,
Turns so quickly to the past.
I know it’s something wrong,
And I know we’ll pay for this deceit.
But there’s something about your taste,
That makes me desire for our repeat.
There is nothing like your sweat,
As a result of our body’s heat.
And the absolute attraction,
Every time we meet.
I wonder how we’d be,
If we were to be faithful and legit.
If we were fair and well behaved,
Would we still be all for it?
I wonder if you’d swoon,
Over every word I whispered near.
I wonder if the phrases said,
Would be too intense to bear.
I wonder if when we kissed,
We thought them common and mundane.
I wonder if our time spent close,
Would be a bother and a bane.
So let us pretend tonight,
That we were casual strangers in this affair.
As if we never knew,
That in time we soon will care.
And jealousy would soon bare its face,
One so ugly and so grim.
And soon we would live routine,
And never be impulsive on the whim.
So darling let us be legit,
And let us love and completely adore.
Let us write our story every day,
Never predict what is in store.
