Voodoo
Been cooking more formally recently. Instead of just wandering in and making a pizza or something, I've made a variation on one of Julia Child's soup recipes; also made clam chowder and fish and chips. Fish and chips never gets old.
The oil in my deep fryer, though...needs to be replaced.
I'm in the open beta for Star Trek Online, in theory, a benefit of preordering. I haven't managed to download the damn game so far, though, and I've been trying since Tuesday. Today's version better work, or I might put a bottle of cheap bourbon through my computer.
It's proposal time at work, which means long nights and a general sense of being burnt out. Even if I get STO downloaded, I dunno how much longer per day I can stare at a computer screen. I'll try my damndest, though.
Still wrestling with inspiration. Occasionally wrestling with feelings that nothing I do matters. Which may be true. I'm considering a plan for 100,000 people to give me a quarter, each. If I could only find a way...customized couplets, perhaps? Either way, it seems easier than asking one person for 25k, right? Maybe someday I'll think of an idea that's worth 25 cents.
If I ever do, it might be time to invest in some new eyeglasses. These are starting to drive me nuts. Loose, lens scratched, slightly too small for my massive ego head.
