Back from my five days of no work, and I feel better. Or I did, but we had a meeting that effectively confirmed my worst fears about the company for the coming year. It's kind of weird being a liberal who works for an Army contractor - my feelings are mixed when I hear things like the Army cutting budgets. At least the stuff we do, in theory, would make soldiering safer for military and civilians. We'll see.
Slid my car off the road yesterday, hit some brush. She seems fine. Lots of good Samaritans stopped to help me, which I really appreciated; one of them towed me the two or three feet back onto the road. Blargh.
Here's to making some positive changes in my life!
