Am I here because I have to be here…or because I’m really stupid like they used to call me? Jin said those words in his mind as he was sitting at the back where Kame, his lover, Koki and Maru were singing different songs of their sempai’s. For him, this day was the worst. Kame hadn’t talked to him all day because of their small fight last night. Jin tried to talk to him all day; he even went close to him when the cameras were around thinking that he will reply because there was a camera following them. But Jin was wrong. Kame had no response whatsoever. Jin doesn’t know what to do anymore… He tried every possible thing just to get Kame’s attention. He tried to beat box with a mega phone but instead, Maru got the mega phone from Jin and said that it was his selling point. It was true, no one can beat him, but he didn’t have any intention of getting that selling point from him. All he wanted was Kame’s attention.
All day, he watched Kame talking and laughing with Koki. He kept a normal expression on his face, trying to laugh with them, but deep inside, his heart aches. Seeing his lover talking to Koki and even “flirting” with him was crushing his heart. But he didn’t want that to interfere with them since he knew that Kame was having his time and he didn’t want to bother them. Instead he chose to keep silent and kept his violent thoughts for himself.
After the shoot, everyone packed their things and headed for their van. Jin looked as his watch and saw that it was almost 12 midnight. He remembered that it was the same time when they last spoke to each other, it’s been 24 hours already and yet he and Kame haven’t talked at all. He thought Kame would talk to him already because he knows that he can’t resist talking to him, but sadly, Kame has not yet even passed him a glance. Through the ride, Kame and Koki sat together in front, sleeping side by side. Behind them were Taguchi and Ueda sleeping soundly as well. He was stuck at the back of the van with Maru who was looking outside the window.
“Hard day, huh? You two…not talking.”
“Hmm… yeah… I tried everything…no luck.” After a minute of silence, Maru once spoke again.
“He told me something…” He said with a heavy sigh.
“W-what is i-it?” Maru looked at him with a serious look, almost a glare until he spoke again…
“ Kazu needs you badly…”
“E-eh...” Jin was puzzled. The van finally stopped at Maru’s apartment.
“Well this is my stop. See you tomorrow, Akanishi.” He said as he left the van and closed the door. Maru didn’t explain what he said to Jin a moment ago. Maru knows that if Jin really loved Kame, he would know the reason why Maru said those words. But still, as baka as he is, he was left puzzled. When the van starte moving again, he started at the sleeping Kame from afar and thought” If you needed me, why didn’t you talk to me then? I was waiting for your reply…Why wouldn’t you answer me? Kazu~ talk to me…please…” saying those words in his mind, Jin closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
