Duuuhh Melanie!

Sometimes I'm grateful that my friends know me so well, otherwise they might get offended. Instead they understand I'm just dorky.

Last week at work Raquel asked me if I had my cell phone, of course NO I did not. She said she was going to write me an e-mail then. (though our e-mail system at work) I tell her okay and hear her typing.

BEFORE that happend she asked us if we could smell the stink in the room. It ALWAYS stinks in our office. People eat at their desks and just toss out the garbage in the room where it sits for who knows how long before it gets taken out.

Raquel said she thought it smelled like that since she got in and that she thought it smelled like someone went to the bathroom and forgot to wipe. EEEWW! I couldn't smell anything but maybe a faint garbage smell. We all figured Raquel's nose is working overtime with her being pregant.

I read the e-mail she sent me. It said that ealier that night when she complained about the smell Daryel and Paul figured it was the garbage and moved the garbage that was next to Raquel to the supervisor's desk, where Doug would sit when he got in. "That's messed up huh?" she wrote.

I read it wrong, I read as if she was just complaining about the smell. I was thinking what she ment by "that's messed up" that it was messed up they didn't just TAKE the garbage out. Since she had already mentioned the smell I didn't think to write her back a reply.

"Did you get my e-mail."
"Yeah"
"That's messed up huh?"
"What?"
"Did you read the e-mail Melanie?"
"Yeah, you said it stunk in here."
"You didn't read the e-mail!"
"Yes I did!"
"No you didn't read the e-mail!"
"I did, you said it stinks in here."
"That's not what I was saying?!"
"What? Watch, lemme read it again."
"I write you an e-mail and you don't even read it! Messed up!"

I re-read the e-mail and laugh. I tell her what I thought she was talking about and she could only reply with "DDDDUUUHH Melanie!"
"I know, I'm such a dork!"
"Yes, Melanie, Yes you are!"

Yeah but they love me!
