I just finished a marathon of Candidate for Goddess, Lagoon Engine, and Lagoon Engine Einsatz today.  LEE I had read in full before; CfG I had read about half of; LE I had only read a preview chapter for.

i realize this is nine months later, but my main titles are getting crappy so i've been poking around on some older ones and found this.

haven't read CfG, but going off your summary it almost sounds like Sugisaki's confused herself. too many twists that collapse on each other.

but the main reason i'm commenting is your Lagoon Engine notes. (it's almost impossible to find someone commenting on it.) got no idea if you've read 6 - or 7 since it came out in Jan(?) - Sakis shows up again in 6 and Ayato's got a strange moment in 7 that alludes to the Einstaz world. there's been 2 references by tertiary characters that imply Yen and Jin will be going to Sakis' world, most likely to help win the war. if they end up with the Gods as allies i don't know what i'd do.

one of the things i love about LE is how much Ayato's hiding from Yen. the kamidori he got from his mother shows that their maternal family is also gakushi or connected somehow. Ayato got the hint about who we know know is Zai long before Yen found out their enemy's in town. the moment in 7's got me stumped though... i'm beginning to wonder if Ayato's like Voyse. took me 10 reads to figure that out.-_-

For CfG...yeah. I feel like it wouldn't have been so bad if she had at least continued it from there...or tried to end it if she knew she had to drop the series. *sigh*

NO. I HAVEN'T YET...mostly because I don't have the cash to buy them, so the only place I can find them is online, unfortunately. The place I usually go to (mangafox) doesn't have them, unfortunately. But now I feel like I need it like air. I'm very interested in Ayato's role in all of this...damn. And them going to Sakis' world is the thing I want most. Oh God..I'd die from simultaneous excitement, shock, and despair.

oh man, sorry! ^^' if i had a scanner i'd do it for you. i check all the readers i've got bookmarked and the farthest anyone's got LE is Vol. 5, the Tokyopop version. it's manga-go.com, everything was posted last January.
