Honestly, there was always something that reminded me somewhat of the awesome Pein when reading your application. Maybe, like it was said before, it's your bold personality. You know what you can do and you're confident in yourself which is very much like him. I mean come on, he wasn't defeated even once before he attacked Konoha, he does have a confidence in himself which isn't all empty and only talking... if that makes any sense. He doesn't strike me like the type to get emotional but... You also said you're critical to yourself and to others yet understanding which is very much like Pein. He might be the leader of Akatsuki and while he can think highly of himself, I still thought he understands and treats other Akatsuki members with at least some respect. Independent, risk-taking, bold, assertive, sharp, cold, brooding, bitter -- it all reminds me of him. Just like you he's also mature, idealistic about the future, introverted, hard-working. A lot of your situational answers reminded me of him too; Your reason for joining Akatsuki, the showing mercy part, the respect part and how you're not stupid to do anything for power -- maybe I am just assuming things but that's something I associate with Pein. He might be the leader of Akatsuki but he never strikes me as heartless.
