Wheatfields deserts have claimed three more helpless souls.

We did not find out who gets laid off today. I did, however, manage to convince Josh and Anne to come to Boxer BBQ with me. It was delicious as always.

Went to Boxer BBQ and had smoked prime rib with corn on the cob, potato salad, and corn bread for dinner. Skipped the deep fried bread pudding this time, though, as good as it is. Also brought home brisket, pulled pork, and potato salad for meals ( Read more... )

Another day blown killing bugs caused by my big change. I fucking hate system-spanning changes that are only necessary because there was no fucking design phase on a project.

At least lunch was fucking awesome, though the fact that the place was basically an upscale Hooters was annoying.

Aaaand tomorrow is the start of Weekend in Rokugan. Yaye, and suchlike. There will be roleplaying and travel and exhaustion, and we've discovered that while there isn't a Waffle House within ten miles, there are several other excellent restaurants, including what appears to be high quality Indian food. So tonight, I decided to have dinner. I stopped on the way home at a place called Boxer BBQ, a place I have lived within two blocks of for the past seven years. I had never been there before. We ate how much sushi? We ate TWO FULL BOATS OF SUSHI. That is a fucking lot of sushi. Plus appetizers, drinks, and a teeny tiny dessert.

And on top of that, Heroes of Rokugan 3 was announced this morning.

Holy crap. The party added a chaos sorc today, and just ripped through encounters like a chainsaw massacre. It was pretty awesome.
