Since I work with money alot, being in a pharmacy, I'm always on the look-out for interesting coins.
I have coins from Canada, Morocco, Taiwan... Even Euros. (Usually, people don't notice their mixed in their US change and think it's a quarter, dime, or nickel.)
But, the pride of my collection?
A 1919 US penny.
It may only be worth a $1, but think of the history! It's been through 2 World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, and nearly a hundred years of life!
It's still in pretty good condition... Even though I'm about to go web searching for ways to clean coins up...
edit: Well, never mind! This website tells me that cleaning an old coin can diminish it's value up to 90%!
