i cant believe its june 19th. i just heard the date and i really cant believe how fast time is going. ive been unemployed for about two months and i feel pretty shitty about it. its the longest ive ever not been working since i was 16. everyone is being pretty supportive which is comforting, but it a way makes me feel worse because i sometimes feel ( Read more... )

Oh, man.
I still can't understand how my dress came from Davids, either.
Its like I have to disclaim the fact with "But I only went in there for the guranteed laughs!"

Also, my dress sounds like how you described yours.
Wonder if we somehow got the same dress...

thats so funny, i do the same thing. i dont just come out and say "i got my dress". i preface it with the whole "getting grandma out of bed for grandpa's birthday" story, which is true, but still. haha whatever.

oooh! yours is discontinued also? i googled the style number and found a picture online but its not a pretty sight. whats the style #? ill check mine and get back to you.

No, mine is actually a new style. Whihc is why I dodn't get i for $600. Not that much more, though. I am worried what the IT people will think of me at work - I keep checking Davids Bridal website to see if they have photos up yet, but non.

The antiquey lacey beady part of my dress is like a whole second dress that is over the underneath strapless dress. But the beady lacey part has wee little sleeves, and buttons in the back...

i LOVE it! your dress is the first dress i saw when i went with cat. i ran up to it and said I WANT THIS! but they didnt have it in my size. i think yours is the replacement of mine...they are similar except yours has a little more lace and mine is more sheer and beaded. and mine only clasps on the top and then kind of seperates on the bottom and has a bit of a train. i have a wear this weird slip thing underneath too. i think im just wearing the top part for the ceremony and cocktail hour and then its strapless city when im getting down at the reception.

i totally know what you mean about the "it" girls. i feel like whenever someone tells me they got a dress, the first question i ask is "what does it look like", not "where did you get it". and im ONLY getting the "where did you get its"! weird.

your dress is awesome and i think it will look great on you!!

glad someone knows what i mean! dan and i are trying to move out of his dads and its totally not going to happen for a few months because of my unemployment. i almost want to start a fight so he'll say something about me getting a job because thats what i deserve. sorry, im kind of mental. but good luck on your job hunt! congrats on graduating ( ... )

i know, im constantly waiting for steve (my boyfriend) to tell me to get off my ass and find a job. but he doesnt. he just keeps on telling me that since im looking eventually ill find one. sometimes the neverending support is irritating. and you think youre mental.

2000 isnt that bad when you consider the fact that a)the photos are unlimited so people will probably take sets for themselves AND you guys and b)you wouldnt have to buy favors. i say do it.

we totally should get together. italian ices all the way.
