Well, I'm here. I got in about an hour ago.
On the train, I was doing fine. I was navigating my way across Paris (entirely in French, I might add)... I was meeting other people from my program, and exchanging stories with random friendly passengers on the train... but now that I'm here, in the dorm, I'm back to depressed and lonely. I'm sure that it will go away eventually, but right now it sucks. Facebook is blocked by the university, skype is not working at the moment (so I can't call home or Daniel, both of which I intended to do when I got here), neither my dad nor Daniel is answering his e-mail (in Daniel's case not surprising, in my dad's extremely worrying), my roommate seems to dislike me already, and all I've had to eat today is two pieces of gum and half a bottle of diet coke. So, nothing. No calorie intake today whatsoever.
I want to go home.
