How awesome is Donna?

I talked to a good friend last night who had ditched Doctor Who halfway through New Earth, but on Friday, while waiting for Battlestar Galactica, he caught the end of "Partners in Crime". He only saw about five minutes, but he was "Who is that new woman? She seems something special."

I told him he really had to watch "Fires of Pompeii". Because, yes, Donna is just that awesome.
