I'm not that nervous anymore. I've found some work buddies (besides Val whom I met at Michael's) and I'm kind of impressed with the way things run. They really want you to know your shit and they go all out to make sure you know it. I just completed my three days of training. Three days. As opposed to Michael's, where I was hired and then trained on register for 2 hours. It took me a year and a half, but I finally know most of what goes on in the store. I can also tell you where absolutely everything is located. That's mostly why I don't want to quit. It took me SO FUCKING LONG to find everything.
Okay, so we all know I'm a feminist all the way. But seriously, working for guys is soooo much easier. No drama, no guilt trips, and I CAN MAKE JOKES! I'm telling Rich some Hellen Keller jokes tomorrow.
I should have known this was going to be good when I was teasing the Store manager during my interview.
