First day today. It just wasn't the same. A lot of corny orientation videos (about 2 1/2 hours worth of which I found, picked out, and rewound on my own since no one popped their head in to check on me.) They were all astounded at how I didn't just sit there and do nothing until they came in. They were also shocked that I can hit a rewind button. Yay brownie points.
Lots of number memorizing and tests. I consoled Lauren on her suffocating boyfriend and spent about 10 mins in the bathroom trying not to die. Nobody noticed I was gone. I hate this part of the workforce. Point me in a direction, give me the jist, and I'm out of your face for the entire shift. But I absolutey cannot stand to wait around for someone to tell me where to go next and such. HATE IT!
Then I got out of work and went to Michael's to say hi. I saw Dottie putting up wreaths and I nearly lost it.
The bathrooms are terrible. The customers hate us. We hate the customers. The prices are high (except the Floam- it's a dollar cheaper than LnT).
But when it comes down to it, it's my home. I miss my hole.
In other news, BABY!
