Today I did a fun piece based on those snails in the last illustration I did. I must admit I was thinking of my little sister the whole time and kind of catered it to her. She has a "pet" snail named Ferdinand whom she found in the trash and now she keeps him in a dish with my mom's colander on top. Needless to say, my mom bought a new colander.

Since you're stuck on snails....you ever consider the other racing snails from "The NeverEnding Story" ?

Then you must get the book and read it! Now is the time to lay in supplies of bed-time stories for the little one!

Or you could just cop-out and watch the movie too ;-)

I've never read the book, actually, but the movie was a staple growing up. I will put the book on my list to-read but I've got so many it could be years!
