She sees the fires, the slaughtered bodies bleeding, rotting away on the battle field. She saw the once and future king veiled his powerful sword, a sword forged with magic.
He would be the greatest king the land had ever seen. With the warlock by his side and his very understanding queen at his other. The knights will look at him and see a king forth fighting for. And he will rule fair and just.
She sees all this and more but she doesn’t see a place for herself.
All she sees is blinding magic and a dark haired druid boy with huge eyes who’s grown up to a dark haired young man with revenge in his eyes.
And with the love of his mother lying as a protective charm around him as he surges forward to the once and future king she wakes up damp and breathless trying to convince herself that it was all just a dream.
