Soon marks the day of the yearly fall "break" here at college. The extra-long, extra-annoying weekend. It starts promptly friday at 5PM and continues on until Tuesday night at midnight. How is this even considered a "break"? We have two extra days off...woo--fucking--hoo! Columbus day was monday, so it's nothing more than a delayed and extended dedication to the slave-trading naive-navigating Spaniard. Which actually makes sense considering I attend a college that is so proud of it's liberal nature and very diverse student population consisting of 5,000 white people, and a combination of 25 blacks, asians, and mexicans. And it now is officaly Yam-Kipper, so today's total SUNY Cortland population will be effectively reduced to 4,997. Is there even a point to go to class with so many people missing, or more importantly, what will happen when I ask to send out a search party in all the showers on campus?
But who am I to complain? It gives me two more additional days to promote liver abuse to the fullest, and withhold Cyan keys from those dirty-jack daniels loving-parking lot pissing-"girlfriends" that I adore oh so much. And this time, her YMCA card won't be the only thing I'm taking from her in the woods...
