This... has been a WEIRD week. And it's not even OVER yet.
Sunday - Worked, which is unusual, but coworker had to out of town, so I picked up her shift. Woman tried to make a return without a receipt and when I denied her, her response was, "I know that it's not your decision, it's the corporation's, but is it any WONDER you're going out of business?" Was so startled that she went there that I couldn't even think to respond that we were staying open. The entire group of people at the front register was kind of slackjawwed in respone. Way to go, random bitch.
Monday - Woke up feeling particularly refreshed. Wondered why I'd slept so well until I looked at the clock and realized that I'd slept until 2 pm. Yea, that'll do it...
Tuesday -
Joe: (calling me while I'm at work) Hey, you wanna see the end of the Saw franchize? I got the last movie on DVD, we could have a horror night with the little one (Heather)?
Me: Sure, sounds fun, let's do it!
Me: (Gets out of work at 9 pm to find HOLY SHIT IT'S SNOWING)...FUCK!
Later Tuesday:
Joe: It's... kinda slushy out there. You guys might wanna spend the night, I bet the roads are gonna be slick.
Early Wednesday - I wake up to find Bronxie the Pittbull sleeping ON me and Dakota the bull-boxer mix curled up around my head. Apparently, I am the dog whisperer.
Later Wednesday - Rush home to check out the latest in the awesome Mayfield event. Five minutes after I arrive home, the power goes out. It STAYS out until early Thursday morning, during which time I exhaust the battery life of my Nintendo DS, cell phone, and flashlight.
Thursday - Wake up at 5 am because I went to bed early for lack of anything else to do, absolutely positively awake and raring for something to do. End up doing two loads of laundry, dusting my book shelves (and nick-knacks!) and vacuum.
...I'm kind of worried for what this weekend will bring...
And I'm PISSED that the temps dipped below freezing again. SERIOUSLY, it's almost APRIL. We're supposed to worry about the weather during HEATHER'S birthday, not mine! ALL I WANT FOR MY BIRTHDAY IS 60 DEGREE WEATHER!
In RP related news, I'm delighted that Nall has temporarily regained his human form at Mayfield and Yomiko is now the proud co-owner of a bookstore alongside Batman at Willowgrove. XD
