So I feel incredibly bored without my nose in a book. I've already admitted my temporary obsession with the Twilight series and now that I'm finished with that I suppose I have to go back to watching TV. I haven't actually watched TV since Wednesday after Lost when I picked up the first book and started reading. That's 2,458 pages in approx. 5 days. That's either really good or really bad. I was still pretty useful on Saturday, but on Sunday I did nothing but sit on the couch and read (I did manage to eat and take a shower). Now that I'm back to TV, life seems so ho hum.
I've already mentioned how thrilled I am that Craig will be returning shortly. At the time of his arrival, he will have been gone for 26 days. So here's 13 reasons why I'm glad he'll be home. I would give you 26, but honestly, that might get a little long and mushy, so I'll save all that for him once he gets here. You'll have to settle for half :-)
1. I won't have to take the dog out every single time he whimpers for adventure. Mostly because he doesn't cry nearly as much when Craig is here (obviously I'm a push over)
2. I can forgo the "single lady" life style that I've begrudgingly adopted which mainly involves tagging along with other couples
3. I will actually cook again. Maybe.
4. I at least will not be eating frozen dinners
5. I can stop obsessively checking the alarm
6. I can stop fantasizing about Edward Cullen's intimate relations and ponder my own
7. I will have someone to talk to, other than my dog and my cat
8. The bed won't seem quite so big
9. I'll actually be able to see him smile, rather than just imagining it
10. Holding hands
11. Things getting done around the house (we have a long list: painting, planting, carpets, etc.)
12. Someone to run errands with
13. I can celebrate our one year anniversary with the man I married
