I got my first virus today
Ok, that's not terribly convincing, is it, after all these years of arsing around online, and maybe the occasional rash offline ;-)
I got my first virus without being aware of where it came from. I was only on imbd, so I can only assume that one of the ads on the site was the problem. Cleared the virus up, but it's taken a couple of system restores and a stern talking to and I'm still not sure that my modem will continue to work properly.
I've had 3 BSODs and two system restores in as many days: I think it's time to do a backup.
