gosh, i'm so tired but i'm so happy. i had a long day at work. i opened. i'm going to be opening every single freaking day until christmas. thanks, michelle. thanks a lot. actually not that big of a deal though because i'll have my evenings free to hang out with people. it was a good day. a lot of cool people came into the store today, such as my awesome livejournal friends gabe and angelina.

i'm just in a really good place mentally right now. i know so many cool and amazing people. and i love hugs. i got lots of hugs from the tons of cool people that came through the store today. i did a lot of catching up with people in the day and a half that i've been here. mrs. charles (alicia's mom) came by today and we talked for awhile. it's crazy how long i've known that family. and i also got to talk to olivia today (not in the store as she is still in st. augustine). olivia mullen is now engaged. it's really insanity and just weird because i have a friend that is getting married. that and the fact that i'm losing the "teen" part of my age in about a month and a half makes me feel old and it's weird.

i had a chat with the dakins yesterday. i went by there house to drop off these angel ornaments made out of capiz shells that my mom brought home from the philippines for them as a christmas/thank you present for being so nice to me. it's hard to just drop something off there and leave so i ended up staying for awhile. words cannot even express how awesome i think their family is. i love them so much. i really really do. as i was leaving mrs. dakin told me how she considers me family and that i belong to her whether or not i like it. heh =)

so that is about it. nothing too exciting. but that is my life. and i'm quite content with it at the moment.

p.s. - the little brown people (filipinos) of the fort myers area have decided that christmas is going to be celebrated at my family's house this year. feel free to stop by.
