Ice and TV Catch-up
URGH! We just never ever going to get our recycling taken out again. All three bins are overflowing and have been since before Christmas. There's another huge pile of bags on our porch (thanks to my purging). Every two weeks, something else goes wrong and it doesn't get taken to the curb. Tonight they are just frozen solid to the ground again, thanks to Sunday's flooding. It's like trying to lift up a car. This state is ridiculous.
Last night I caught up a bit on my DVRed Gossip Girls. I haven't made up my mind on that show yet. It's like a guilty pleasure that isn't all that pleasurable, but I keep watching. I could not care LESS about Nate. He's got Dawson syndrome. They're trying to make me care, but I can't for the life of me figure out why everyone is fighting over him.
I also caught up on Sarah Connor Chronicles a bit. They are losing me. It's a great hook, but they need something to follow it up with. I find John very unlikeable, as many 15-year-old boys are. It's like Harry in Order of the Phoenix - enough with the Capslock of Rage already.
Tonight is Top Model! Woo hoo! I am so ready. rm_renfield is home sick from her rehearsal, so she and I are going to watch last week's clip show (part 2) and then the premiere. And this time around, I can count my viewing as homework. Honestly, I'm supposed to watch it for my Reality TV seminar. It's assigned.
