I really enjoyed this one, allthough there were definitely parts that made me curious, like :

Emma smiled tightly. “It’s kind of hard to forget, considering the result.”

Emily laughed softly. “I should have just buggered you, eh?”

Emma shook her head. “It’s worth it.”

“I wonder if you’ll ever tell her that?” She cupped Emma’s cheek and wouldn’t let her look away.

“She knows.”

I love how you're jumping back and forth in their timeline, and it gets me even more hooked to know more about them.

You're doing a great job with this prompt table so far=) Oh and I read Private Party, but I was in a rush and didn't have time to leave you a proper comment. There was a certain spookyness to it, I think I've heard a similar story to the one emily told, once. Also I think it's the first time I've ever read a story where cannibalism was worked into a food fetish setting =D

Oh I'll get there. I bet you can guess which prompt I'm going to be using for it too. It's about halfway written. I'm glad you like the skipping around, rather than find it confusing!

Is it weird that I didn't even notice that THE ENTIRE THING was about cannibalism? Because obviously that was what the Tanizaki story flirted with (of course the best part was that the first course they ate was pretty boring, but when they burped, the burps tasted delicious), and the question of whether they actually ate the korean woman or just the tempura coating weighed on me for ages, but seriously, i did not realize it was cannibalism. Wow. *bangs head against wall*

This one was actually quite sweet despite the prompt that was given. That was definitely a lovely surprise. ^^ I'm curious about the sexual escapades Emily mentioned with Emma and the inhibitor collar though. I'd also like to read more about Emma's other less pleasant experience with the device. It couldn't have been nice, seeing as how she's somewhat insecure with them despite willingly giving her submission with it to her lover. Will you expanding on those two aspects in another fic ( ... )

I will be writing more about the inhibitor collar incident. I'm actually in the middle of that one now.

It's sort of embarrassing to admit, but I totally did not notice there were cannibalistic overtones in yesterday's fic. I was on a food=sex train of thought and just entirely missed it.

Someone needs to tell me these things!

I think this is not out of character for me. My appropriate-ness value judgment widget doesn't work properly. Mentioning Human Cheese at the dinner table with my grandmother who still thinks its 1940 was another incident of appropriateness malfunction. Cripes.

I am glad you're still thinking about it. I wish it was because of something i put in on purpose.

Wow. I'm actually surprised you didn't get the cannibalistic overtones, since they seemed so blatant to me... lol. I actually love your Xmen/CM xover fics but couldn't, pardon the pun, stomach yesterdays.

Now todays is... yummy.

God. I have got to stop with the food metaphors. I'm still disturbed :P

I know! When i looked back at it again I was like 'oh shit! basically three things happen in that fic and ALL THREE have something to do with cannibalism.' Fuck me twice.

I suppose this is what i get for riffing off of Tanizaki who likes to live on the edge between the erotic and the perverse.
(Come to think of it, all three of my favorite Japanese authors occasionally associate cannibalism and eroticisim, so maybe I've become inured to it enough that it doesn't set off any alarms.)

You continue to blow me away. I love it all. I haven't been commenting due to having been away from home and away from fanfic all summer, but I'm all caught up now! Please do keep writing, you are great. <3

Glad to see you back!

I've tossed too many plates into the air to stop writing now! I'd better keep plugging or there will be a big crash.

Thank you!!!

i'm enthralled with your stories. i can't stop reading them. and you left a lot of back memories/stories open with this one. there's totally a story with emma's comment about the inhibitor collar and just the potential use of the den!!

ok, ive got a seriously dirty head, but i cant help myself with these two and you make it real which is fabulous!
