I actually did read your food fetish fic yesterday, but the cannibalistic aspect made me a little.. iffy. Believe me, I'm open to just about anything nowadays fic-wise, femslash especially, but it's still just one of those things that make me scratch my head. When a fic has that kinda content, I have to think more about what I really feel about it than I would with a fic that I immediately like after reading otherwise you would've gotten an instant review from me.
Nevertheless, I have to admit that it was a rather interesting take on a prompt. When I saw what it was, I thought it would've gotten as kinky as eating sushi off a naked woman, (I think I saw a showing of something like that on 'Bizarre Foods' on the Travel Show once) but it was definitely something new. Still scratching my head over it, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I've been told that some authors take it as a compliment when they still leave their readers thinking after reading one of their pieces! XP

It's sort of embarrassing to admit, but I totally did not notice there were cannibalistic overtones in yesterday's fic. I was on a food=sex train of thought and just entirely missed it.
Someone needs to tell me these things!
I think this is not out of character for me. My appropriate-ness value judgment widget doesn't work properly. Mentioning Human Cheese at the dinner table with my grandmother who still thinks its 1940 was another incident of appropriateness malfunction. Cripes.
I am glad you're still thinking about it. I wish it was because of something i put in on purpose.

Now todays is... yummy.
God. I have got to stop with the food metaphors. I'm still disturbed :P

I suppose this is what i get for riffing off of Tanizaki who likes to live on the edge between the erotic and the perverse.
(Come to think of it, all three of my favorite Japanese authors occasionally associate cannibalism and eroticisim, so maybe I've become inured to it enough that it doesn't set off any alarms.)
