How a spiritual journey looks ...from the ground

Here is a story that I think gives a great example of the many aspects that a spiritual journey might have. The main character (the mouse) goes through much change over the course of the story. He meets teachers, helpers, and guides. He also learns how to face fear, criticism of peers, misguidance by those that seem to know more and finally the truest reward. The understanding of his truest nature unbridled by earthly boundaries. I hope you enjoy. I have told this story many times myself. It is in print several places to my knowledge. The book that this web page is from is one, although there are others. I like it told over a nice fire myself though.
