Just finished reading The Power of Myth earlier tonight. It was a great experience, very transformative. I can't recommend it enough, because Campbell speaks in a spiritual and mythological vocabulary that really cuts to the core of all things. It's not dense and impenetrable, though. I finished reading Hero With a Thousand Faces this afternoon, and it blew my mind. I keep having trouble finding words to express the epiphanic, life-changing quality of this work.
