A lady is taking a walk in the park when suddenly her left eye flies out.
“Oh, no!” she screams, but luckily a handsome young man catches it and
gives it back to her. She is so pleased that she invites him out to dinner
that evening.
That night he asks her,“Why did you invite me tonight?” She replies,
“Because you caught my eye.”

Q: Why did the girl eat her homework?
A: Because her teacher said it was a piece of cake.

piece of cake - "кусок торта" - "проще простого"

Q: Why did our English teacher marry the cleaner?
A: Because she swept him off his feet.

Q:Why did the owl fail his exams?
A: Because he didn't give a hoot.

not give a hoot - "наплевать", "всё равно" и "не заухала" (hoot - крик совы)

New wife: Will you love me when I am old, fat and ugly?
New husband: Of course I do!

Q: How do you confuse a Japanese?
A: You put him in a round room and tell him there is a 1,000 note
in the corner.
※note 紙幣。

note - банкнота
