Summary: Jin would always call Kame when he needed some comfort.
Jin would always call Kame every time he needed some comfort. Kame would arrive at Jin's apartment in no longer than fifteen minutes. Jin would talk to him, Kame would hug him, sometimes kiss him and after they would spend the night on Jin's bed in each other arms and when Jin would wake up Kame would be already gone.
Jin would always expect-want to see him on the morning.
They had met at a bar. Jin was sad, he had recently learned his girlfriend of approximately 5 years had been cheating on him for the past year. Kame had seen him, felt intrigue on this stranger and approach him. He sat next to Jin, asked for another drink and turn to look at Jin and blurted out "Wanna talk about it?"
Jin took the last sip of his alcohol beverage and simply answer "wanna go to my apartment?" Kame smiled, payed for their drinks and leave with this stranger he had just met.
Jin would have tell every single problem he had ever had on his life to this 'stranger'. After he had cried almost all night/morning Kame left him on his couch asleep and on the coffee table placed on the middle of the living room left a note.
"Call me anytime you need to talk.
32060265
Kamenashi"
and ever since that night Jin would call this Kamenashi dude once a week to talk...or to have a hot session.
This time was not different. Kame was at Jin's apartment, both naked laying on bed beside each other. Jin noticed he would always call Kame and ask to please his needs or to talk about himself, yet he never heard Kame saying a thing about his life and this made Jin wondered why Kame would always agree to come. So Jin asked.
"why do you always agree in coming here?" There was a long pause but not uncomfortable. Kame simply answered "it's ok."
Jin didn't take it further.
-
There's a knock on the door. Jin knows who is, and open the door without hesitation. Kame walks in and sits on the couch. No greetings, no hugs, no kiss, no nothing. Jin follows his guest and sits next to Kame.
"I want to know about you too, like, what is your first name?" Jin said.
"It's okay, you don't have to know." Kame said as he laugh.
Jin felt embarrass but decided to ignore it and continue.
"Will you stay tonight?"
"Don't I always do?" Kame said.
"I mean, will you be there next to me when I wake up on the morning?"
"I have work tomorrow." Kame reply quickly without doubting.
"Tomorrow's Sunday, but it's okay if you don't want to." Jin said lastly feeling sad.
No more words were spoken. They simply sat, watching television in silence just drinking some beer, holding hands, cuddling, sharing small kisses from time to time. No words were needed, none of them wanted to break the silence. Jin didn't want to let go off this man who was in his arms, it feels good holding this man, feeling his warmth, smelling his hair, caressing his face.
"I'm starting to like you." Jin blurted out, breaking the silence. Kame's body tense and Jin could feel it but it was for a short time as soon Kame relaxed again. "Then is time for me to leave..." Sadness fill up Jin and as a reaction to it he tightened his grip around the smaller arms. "..but I won't, Jin." Kame finished and Jin loose his grip and felt relief.
A couple of hours went by and both of them decided it was time to go to bed.
When Jin woke up next morning he felt disappointment and sad the other side of the bed was empty and felt even sadder when he grabbed the pillow where Kame had slept and was warm. Jin reproached to himself that if he had woken up earlier he would have stopped Kame from leaving him. As Jin hugged that pillow he heard a voice.
"Hungry?"
Jin smiled, Kame had stayed and had cooked breakfast for them. It was perfect. He felt happiness again.
--
Months passed by. Kame would go to Jin's apartment every night sometimes he would stay over and other times he would go back to his own apartment. to sleep, but something was for sure, Saturday night Kame would sleep next to Jin and would cook for breakfast for both of them.
In that time Jin had learned many things about Kame, not as much as he would like to know but a lot compared to what he knew before and Jin was happy about it.
Today was Saturday. Jin knows what that means, Sunday morning with Kame.
Both were sitting on the couch watching a movie.
"I want you to move in." Jin said.
Kame was shocked. He wasn't expecting something like that but lastly agreed. Not like he spends time at his own apartment anymore. When 2 o'clock arrive both went to bed. Jin kiss Kame goodnight.
"Goodnight Kame. I love you, I really do." Jin said as he turn to see into Kame's eyes, but Kame didn't say a word until he thought what was right to say. "shh, don't say that."
"Why, Kame? I love you, I fell for you I couldn't help it."
Kame said nothing and simply kiss Jin on the lips.
Next morning, Sunday morning arrived and with it an empty bed and a crying Jin. Kame was gone. Why had he left? Jin had called Kame and hadn't get any answer. That was the last time Jin saw Kame. For the next weeks Jin would call Kame at least 5 times per hour but sadly the younger one wouldn't pick up. At a certain point Jin said to himself it was enough, he had to stop. Kame was not coming back. As painful as it sounds, that's the truth. He should have kept his love to himself.
.A month later--
Jin was at his apartment. Eating some Italian food and wine he had bought before he got home. He was sitting on the couch watching a new episode of his favorite series. He was happily eating until he had a sip of wine and thought "Kame would like this wine." he scolded himself for thinking of him again. He continued eating and watching tv. As he was about to finish eating someone knocked on the door. Jin didn't feel like opening. He was too busy watching this incredibly new episode and didn't want to take off his eyes. So he chose to stay where he was but his wine was over so he went to get another glass. As he got up his phone vibrated, one new message was read on the screen, he opened the message and there was another knock on the door.
From: Kamenahsi
To: Jin
Hey. Where are you?
10:38 pm
Jin's heart skip a beat. Was Kame at his front door? He forgot about the glass of wine and rush to open the door. Jin was right, there stood the man he loves. Kame was there with some baggage on the floor.
"Is the offer of moving in still on?" Kame asked since Jin only stood there looking him but still Jin didn't say a word.
"Jin I'm sorry. I got scared, okay? When they star to fall for me I always leave. I don't know how to keep on with a relationship. I'm afraid of hurting you. I had to prove to myself that I could love anybody, that I could love you. I like you, no, I love you. Now that I know that I love you, you must know it. I haven't stop thinking of you for the past months and I knew I had fell for you when you stopped calling and all I could think was 'is it too late? Had I already lost him?' and that's when I knew I need you, that I want you; but until today I have the courage to come here and ask for you to forgive me because I love you, Jin." Kame said with some tears almost falling off his eyes.
Jin stood there, speechless and closed the door. Kame was astonished. Karma was getting back to him, he knew he should have not come. As Kame was picking up the baggage he had brought with him and turn to walk away from this humiliation a strong grip on his wrist stop him. He turn his head to see the owner of the grip and he saw a smiling Jin holding on the other hand a bottle of open wine.
"Want some wine?"
Kame simply smiled and a tear fell down, a tear of happiness. Jin pulled him inside the apartment and Kame let go off the baggage that hit the floor and close the door. Jin placed the bottle of wine on the kitchen counter and hurried to hug his beloved one.
"Welcome back Kamenashi" Jin whisper on Kame's ear.
"It's Kazuya" whispered back Kame and gave a small kiss to Jin.
"Kazuya? I like Kazuya, no, I love Kazuya" Jin said and smile.
"...and Kazuya loves you back, Jin."
